What We Do | Meet the Key People | Richard Mulcahy – Non-executive Director
As a non-executive director Richard is a key member of the Management Team. His principal responsibilities include assisting with the firm’s strategic direction and development, client care & trustee training. He is also a member of the firm’s remuneration committee.
Richard has worked in pensions for over 30 years, starting his career with a leading insurance company. He then moved to a premier consulting actuarial firm where he became a partner and advised many large clients with household names in both in the public and private sectors.
Unusually for an actuary, Richard has a history degree which probably explains why he is a great communicator and has a passion for training and public speaking.
Outside pensions, Richard’s interests include his house in France and Crystal Palace Football Club where, as an actuary, he is able to take a long term view on the club’s prospects for success.
