In this month’s issue of Pensions World magazine, Hamish Wilson, Managing Director, champions UK Plc’s right to have freedom of choice in pension benefit design, and more specifically the ability to choose risk sharing arrangements, such as Collective DC (CDC). The UK government has refused to acknowledge CDC’s legality and whether there is demand, but Hamish argues “how there can even be demand if CDC does not yet exist in this country”.
