In our latest edition of In Focus we briefly summarise the main components – and omissions – of the Pensions Bill that is currently before Parliament.
We also comment on the omission of risk-sharing arrangements from the deregulatory measures. In our view these are essential if a meaningful level of defined-benefit pension provision is to survive in future.
